The Temple Mount of Jerusalem in Astrology: On the conflicts between spirituality & materialism

According to my astrogeographical world map system the Temple Mount in Jeruslem is located in the combination of Pisces with Taurus – indicating the issues of the dichotomy between spirituality and materialism.

The Temple Mount in Jerusalem is the place where the first Jewish main temple was built under the reign of King Solomon with construction works starting in 956 BC. According to the Bible Solomon`s father King David had conquered Jerusalem from the Jebusites and established it as the capital of the United Kingdom of Israel. Therefore the choice of the Temple Mount for the first main temple meant also the foundation of a spiritual center for the whole of Israel. Jewish and Christian tradition identifies the Temple Mount with Mount Moriah the supposed location of the binding of Isaac by his father Abraham.

The First Central Temple for Jewish State Cult

It is assumed that the construction of the 1st TEMPLE OF JERUSALEM by King Solomon from around 1000 BCE or later was a consequence of the stabilization of the first large central national state of the Israelites called the “Kingdom of Israel (and Judah)” or “United Monarchy”.

The temple was built on a mound overlooking the national capital of Salomo to serve as a symbol and central temple of Jewish national state cult with the typical functions as a center of national unity of the population under one religious dogma and deity, the stabilization and grounding of the central capital, rule of the king, the national appeal to possession of territory and the stabilization of economy too.

The combination of Taurus with Pisces: its potentials & problems

Taurus the principle of eating, moneymaking and the possession as well as the occupation of land stands for the character and the importance of the Temple Mount as a town center, marketplace. As the sign of grounding, growing roots, agriculture and settling down it stands for the historical shift in the situation of the Israelites at the time o f its construction.
