The Montjuic Communications Tower also called “Torre Calatrava” was designed by spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. It was built for the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992. The 136 m tower is meant to represent an athlete holding the olympic flame. Located on Europa Square it works also as a giant sundial using the Europa square to indicate the hour.
Astrogeographic position for morphogenetic field level 4 which describes the energetical topics and atmosphere of the tower itself: one coordinate of the site spans from the last degrees of solid earth sign Capricorn the sign of stability, mountains, government institutions and main indicator for the white colour into the creative, innovative, rebellious and spiritual air sign Aquarius the sign of the sky, heaven and paradise. Aquarius is the first indicator for particularly large and thin structures. The 2nd coordinate lies in Aquarius too, which makes the tower almost archetypal for this sign. Aquarius could also be related to classical greek “olympic” culture for the emancipation of the individual in relation to the gods.
