Kandariya Mahadeva Temple in Pisces with Leo
Kandariya Mahadeva Temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva in the form of the “the Great God of the Cave” is the largest & most ornate of the world heritage site tantric hinduistic temples at Khajuraho, India. It was built in during the reign of king Vidyadhara (r. c. 1003-1035 CE when Khajuraho served as the capital of the Chandela kingdom.
Astrogeographic position for morphogenetic field level 4 which explains the atmosphere of the temple itself but not the whole of the Khajuraho phenomenon: Kandariya Mahadeva Temple is located in highly energetic, magnetic, centralistic, emotional, royal fire sign Leo the sign of the Sun, light, sexuality and the right for emotional self-expression, self-centeredness and the right for fullfillment of personal desires. Leo stands for the luxurious and rich ornamentation and for the fact that the temple was built to represent the kingdom. The temple for the female goddess Devi Jagadambika in Aquarius with Leo
To the north of the Kandariya Shiva temple (male deity) lies a similar temthough much smaller temple which is dedicated to the female deity Jagadambika.It was built between the year 1000 and 1020 probably around the same time as its counterpart for the male deity.
The fact that the temple for the female deity is located in the adjacent morphic field of the male deity´s temple provides an astrogeographical differentiation of the two. The position of the female goddess in Aquarius the sign of a holistic persepective and indicator of a non-dualistic and even transsexual dimension – stands for its function as an added structure built here to deliver a more complete and abstract representation of the tantric topics.
