The Kalika Mata Temple on the summit of the Pavagadh Hill in Gujarat, India is a 10th century temple famous as a Maha Kali Shakti Peetha.
Shakti Peethas are places of worship of the goddess Shakti (or Sati) a major female principle in Hinduism whose three major forms are Durga, Mahakali and Gauri. See a list of the 51 Shakti Peethas in India.

Etymologically Mahakali is the feminine form of Mahakala or Great Time (including the spheres of death) an aspect of the god Shiva in Hinduism. Mahakali is the greater form of the goddess beyond time, Kali is usually described as a fierceful goddess representing the forces of anger of the goddess Durga and therefore of the supreme goddess (Adi parashakti) in Hinduism. Mahakali is believed to be highest aspect of Kali and many Hindus consider her as the Divine Mother (compare: Ramakrishna Paramahansa).

Astrogeographic position for morphogenetic field level 4 which describes the atmosphere and energetical topics of the temple site itself: the Kalikamata Temple on Pavagadh Hill is located in the service-orientated, female air sign Libra the sign of peace, the angels, harmony, balance, justice, love, relationship, openness, beauty, decoration and naive painting. Kali is usually described as an extremely fierceful goddess which would rather related her to Scorpio (world of demons), Pisces (darkness, emptiness), Leo (self-centeredness) or Sagittarius (hell). Libra is one of the two astrological signs that are ruled by Venus the goddess of love and relationship. The astrogeographic coordinate of the temple site in Libra therefore relates the temple deity to aspects of Kali in the form of the goddess Gauri (or Parvati ) which is the gentle aspect of the goddess Kali.
The 2nd coordinate of the temple is in practical air sign Gemini the sign of communication, information, learning, intelligence, connections, technology and practical magic.
