Astrogeographical Postiton
Astrogeographic position for morphogenetic field level 4 which describes the atmosphere and function of the statue istelf: this Neptune statue is located in the two Venus signs. Neptune represents the astrological ruler of spiritual water sign Pisces the sign of the ocean and open waters which in classical symbolism includes the spiritual plane. One coordinate of the position of his statue here lies in earth sign Taurus the sign of solid ground, the earth itself, grounding, growing roots, food and agriculture.
The 2nd coordinate is located on the cardinal divide of 0° in aristocratic air sign Libra the sign of decoration, beauty, balance, harmony and symmetry. The position exactly on or near a cardinal divide is an indication of the function of the statue as a guardian or checkposts between 2 worlds or realms. The position on cardinal divides and particularly in Libra the sign of stage management relates to the function of the fountain to emphasize the axis of symmetry in the park. Astrologically 0° Libra the position of the autumn equinox stands for the divide between the emotional or inner world and the mental or outer world.

Interpretation
The “Taurus-Neptune” or “Neptune exposed to Taurus perspectives” sculpture may appeear to be staking claims in water, chasing fish or simply display doing so with his trident. But the depicted pose actually presents a mythological mitif.
It alludes to the mythological competition between Poseidon (Neptune as ruler of sea) and Pallas Athene (city goddess of Athens) about who is the true patron of the City of Athens. In that competition Poseidon hit the earth with his trident to create a salt (sometimes delivered as sweet) water spring from the ground of the otherwise dry region and collect it in basin. Athena won the people of Athens when she pierced her lance into the ground making an olive tree grow that provided Athens with food, oil and wood.
This legend contains a narrative of the outsider (minority) status of Poseidon (and of his realms) in the center of human society, civilization and city life: Poseidon provided the most fundamental element of human life but in a form that was useless, or of just recreational use to people.
The topic of a territorial conflict is itself a clear resonance with the definitions of Taurus` regarding the aqusition and possession of land,
However while comparing mythological narratives with astrological descriptions of the 12 systemical planets we should recapitulate that not every single description of them given in mythology can be taken as a definition of the astrological planet.
