The Timing of the event
- For chart calculation, I used the geographical coordinates of the 7,234-meter-high summit of Mount Langtang Lirung (astrogeographical position: 6° Sagittarius – 12° Taurus) as the nearest known location of the event.
- The time refers to a “seismic event” recorded by the United States Geological Survey at 08:37 Nepal Time (NPT)—corresponding to 02:52 UTC. ….
- “The GFZ Helmholtz Centre Potsdam recorded a magnitude 4.4 event about seven minutes before time-stamped video footage (CCTV) showed the surge wave reaching the border town of Gyirong.”
- This indicates that the “wave” in the river valley would have begun approximately 4 to 7 minutes after the time specified by the Geological Survey—that is, between 08:41 and 08:44. Sources: wikipedia article, Timing
- For an astrological analysis, one must also consider the exact moment of the Mars transit—at 9°38` in the water sign of Cancer (the sign of rivers and lakes)—across the Midheaven (MC) at 8:28, which was nine minutes before the seismically detectable event occurred:
- From an astrological perspective, this moment should essentially be viewed—or investigated—as the trigger for the “domino effect.” The process unfolds roughly as follows: meltwater beneath the glacial material initiates increasing movement within that material—continuing until a critical point is reached where the mass of the shifting material had grown sufficiently for its weight to set large sections in motion;
- These sections then began to flow and slide until they collapse, culminating in the peak seismic activity recorded at 8:37.
The Location of the seismic event between Langtang Lirung Peak and Langtang National Park
- The seismic event recorded by the United States Geological Survey had its epicenter between the 7,234-meter summit of Mount Langtang Lirung and the Langtang National Park, which adjoins it to the south. The Langtang River valley lies at an elevation of 3,600 meters, just 5 km south of the Langtang Lirung summit.
- The extreme flooding at Gyrong Port shown in the media was carried there by the Trishuli River—apparently upstream—given that Gyrong Port is situated at an elevation of 2,780 meters in a narrow river valley northwest of Mount Langtang Lirung.
Astrogeographical position of the site where the events originated: approx. 6°–7° Sagittarius and 12°–13° Taurus
- According to the calculation system used for my astrological world map, the summit area of Langtang Lirung is located at 6° Sagittarius and 12° Taurus (Field Level 1 – global resonance). As previously mentioned, these astrological coordinates do not designate the precise location of the glacier collapse itself, nor the site below where the mass of ice and water impacted—triggering a seismic reaction that intensified over the course of several seconds.
- However, the margin of astrogeographical inaccuracy is no greater than approximately one degree of the zodiac; thus, the astrogeographical coordinates of the exact event site lie within the 6°–7° Sagittarius and 12°–13° Taurus range.
Horoscope Interpretation
- Astrogeographical coordinates according to my astrogeographical calculation routine: 6° Sagittarius – 12° Taurus (field level 1 – macro-region).
- The region surrounding Mount Everest lies entirely within this sign combination, allowing for several plausible interpretations: Sagittarius (growth, expansion, magma, and volcanic material) combined with Taurus (solid ground) explains the enormous size of the Himalayas as the result of the “maximal growth and uplift” of “solid material.”
- Jupiter (“instigator,” heat source, driving force)—as the ruling planet of the region’s Sagittarius resonance—was positioned at 12° Leo (heat, sunlight) in an exact square aspect to the resonance coordinate of the area’s highest peak at 12°–13° Taurus.
- This degree of the zodiac describes the specific quality of the location where the wave originated and spread into the affected areas, as well as how that location is embedded within the larger morphic field of the Himalayan massif.
- Jupiter in Leo as a clear indicator of a consequence of climate change: The astrological factor explaining this is Jupiter at 12° Leo in square aspect to the location’s resonance point at 12° Taurus. The current year—featuring Jupiter (expansion) in Leo (maximum heat)—marks this significant historical turning point and also provided the astrological explanation (via analogy, synchronicity, or morphic resonance) for the major Super El Niño event of 2026/27.
- Ascendant at approx. 9–12° Libra: The event can be interpreted as a movement caused by an imbalance of weights.
- Ascendant ruler Venus at 18° Libra (a zodiac degree signifying the moment of detachment according to Döbereiner) in the 1st House: The “balancing movement” of solid material (with Venus ruling the sign of Taurus) triggered the effects.
- Mars at 9° Cancer—the sign associated with water, rivers, and possibly glacial material—at the Midheaven (MC) triggered a downward movement.
- The Moon, as ruler of the Midheaven, was in conjunction with Pluto in Aquarius; this planetary constellation is consistent with frozen water (glacial ice) and suggests that the material was transported downwards toward the 4th House (the area below the starting point indicated by Mars at the MC)—in this case, the river valleys.
The mythological analogy between Mars in Cancer and Shiva
- Based on the results of my astrogeographical mapping and field research, Cancer is the zodiac sign most closely associated with Indian religion—and specifically with Shiva (links to my documentation on this subject are provided below). Apart from Cancer Virgo too plays an important role as the indicating sign of monkhood and Yoga culture.
- One mythological legend identifies Shiva’s “crown chakra” as the source of the earthly manifestation of the Ganges River and the goddess Ganga, who is revered as the supreme divine aspect of the entire river. The goddess had descended from the heavens directly onto Shiva’s head, in order to flow through the land in order to create and nourish life.
- In the event chart for the glacier collapse, Mars—positioned at 9°–10° Cancer, exactly at the Midheaven—can thus be interpreted as a symbolic parallel to the mythological manifestation of the river goddess within the catastrophic event of August 26, 2026.
- Incidentally, the river’s name, “Trishul,” means “trident”; it was chosen as a direct allusion to Shiva’s three-pronged spear.
- This also encompasses the European symbolic interpretation, in which the trident represents the weapon of Neptune—the supreme and most abstract aspect of the water element.
