Astrology, Art and Sculptures: a Beacon of Thanksgiving in Taurus
The Thanksgiving Beacon or Beacon of Hope is a 19,5m tall steel sculpture by Andy Scott on Thanksgiving Square in Belfast, Northern Ireland erected in 2006. It depicts what could be a water or air nymph, victory goddes, abstract metal princess presenting a holistic ring or victor`s wreath as a victory goddess (Victoria) or simply cheerleader greeting incoming traffic on the west side of Quen`s Bridge when entering the City of Belfast. The steel sculptures stands on a basis in the shape of a ball symbolizing the earth.
Astrogeographic position: the sculpture is located in highly profitable earth sign Taurus sign of the earth, grounding, agriculture and food, which for the purpose of Thanksgiving is a highly positive signal. Taurus as the sign of grounding marks a comparatively valuable (expensive) ground indicating energetical grounding e.g. for tourists when entering the town of Belfast.
The 2nd coordinate is located in highly imaginative, mystic spiritual water sign Pisces sign of mystification. spiritual realms, dreaming, temples and illusion. Pisces relates places to the spiritual realms and therefore is a natural indicator for spiritual entities, gods and creatures of imagination. Therefore this aspect of the place can be assumed to support associations and give works of art and aura of leaving things unspoken and even comparatively untouched by intellectual criticism.
Whereas solid fixed earth sign Taurus would rather stand for solid, heavy and comparatively massive sculptures Pisces as the sign of the invisible and unconscious is the indicator for the fragile, abstract and open character of the structure here.
This constellation is valid here for morphogenetic radius/field level 4 which describes the exact position on the west bank of Lagan River in the position of a bridge guardian.
