Astrology and Places: “Jungfrau”(4’158,2 m) is the name of a mountain in the Bernese Alps in Switzerland. The word Jungfrau means Virgin.

Although suggested by its name the mountain´s summit is not located in the earth sign Virgo for any of the size or radius levels of morphogenetic fields. Virgo stands for virginity and the hymen and also is the main astrological indicator for swiss culture.
Instead the astrogeographic width of the summit`s position falls on the cardinal point of the summer solstice at 0° of the female water sign Cancer the sign of the vagina and the uterus. This means that the astrogeographic position hints at a landmark of an energetic “entrance into the vagina”. The resonance of the mountain´s name with the astrogeographic correspondance is such that the mountain was given the name of the protector (Virgo) of the internal female organs here which would refer to the area south of Mount “Jungfrau”. Apart from that 0° Cancer indicates the line of a water divide and a divide of the energetic spheres of the material (spring) and emotional (summer) bodies. The 2nd coordinate is in the air sign Gemini.
